Another successful evening for Operation Torrbank. We started this with the police about a year ago, paying for extra traffic policing out of our ward budgets.
The latest operation was carried out on Gomersal Road and Oxford Road and the following offences were dealt with –
- 4 x TOR – Speeding
- 4 x TOR – Seatbelt
- 1 x TOR – Damaged windscreen
- 1 x Verbal Warning - VRM plate
(TOR = Traffic Offence Report)
In previous months, the police have been up to Hartshead, Roberttown, Liversedge and Church Lane, Gomersal, which have resulted in dozens of prosecutions.
