Labour-run Kirklees imposes pet schemes on residents who do not want them

The results of the public consultation into the A629 Wakefield Road Sustainable Transport Scheme have been published by Kirklees Council and it shows, once again, that the Labour administration is imposing plans on a community that does not wish to have them.

Cll Hall said;

These plans are ill-conceived and have been roundly criticized by residents.

Yet another example of the Labour council bulldozing through its pet schemes against the wishes of local communities.

A Conservative administration would scrap this harebrained scheme.
